Adam Marian

Kleczkowski (March 25, 1883 in Cracow, died. November 17, 1949 in Cracow), Polish linguist, Germanic philolog ist, professor at Poznan University and Jagiellonian University, member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He was the son of Antho ny (journalist, playwright) and Maria Bodnickich. He attended the Gymnasium of St.. Anne in Cracow in the years 1901-1905 he studied linguistics at the Jagiellonian University (among others, William Creizenacha, John Reindeer, Jan Michal Rozwadowski), complementary studies at the University of Freiburg (1905-1906).
